查世煜：1945 年 5 月出生，湖北大冶市人。著名书画家，中国文化名人，中国文化大使，中国传统文化非遗传承人，中国美术学院国画系，书法系首席教授，享受国务院政府特殊津贴。历任中国书画家大百科艺术顾问，中国传统文化非遗传承人年鉴艺术顾问，世界美术家大辞典编委，新中国美术家大典编委，中国艺术家协会名誉会长，中国当代艺术协会终身名誉主席。

早在2012 年，天津人民美术出版社就出版了查世煜大红袍书画专集《中国近现代名家书画集》，在全国新华书店发行。这是全国最具影响力书画集，代表着书坛的至高荣誉。又先后出版了国家珍藏版邮集《查世煜邮集》，《查世煜行草唐诗一百首》，《查世煜草书苏东坡词赋》，2021 年，查老和中国书协主席孙晓云共同出版了《中国影响力人物一一查世煜孙晓云书法集》。

2008 年 9 月，查世煜创作的国画《江山多娇》被人民大会堂收藏；2010 年 10 月，创作的国画《万山红遍》被中国国家博物馆收藏；2013 年成为创作巨幅国画武汉全景图《楚天江城大武汉》第一人，2014 年创作的《万里长城》在众多竞争作品中被选中，饰于九泉卫星发射中心ⅤlP 室；2016 年创作的巨幅国画《红日耀山川》，陈挂于湖北省政协办公楼一楼大厅；2018 年巨幅国画《江山多娇》和《万山红遍》陈设于国博接待室。查老的艺术作品在收藏层面，有髙段位价值，具有国藏品位。拥有他的书画作品，便可以说是有了展示中国传统文化的门面。

在书法上，查世煜五体兼修，更酷爱草书，行书。查老的草体，行草体，行体三种字体被录入国家兰亭字库；书写的《查世煜草书苏东坡词赋》被中国国家博物馆收藏。查老行草体，百度字库亦作收录，被广大书法爱好者喜爱。这说明查老的字体对于传统文化弘扬，有着珍贵的价值。更难为可贵的是，查老作为一名具有文人心的书法家，还能坚持书法的深入研究，尤其在草书研究上，使难以识别的草书变为易读易认的草书字体，被誉称为看得懂的草书，构建了一种属于自己的书法风格，呈现出浓厚的文人情趣和意韵。正因为这样，查老的书法，得到求字者和书法爱好者的喜爱。查老先后为上百家商场店铺，景点，伺堂，寺庙书写了门牌、对联。还有多幅书法作品，通过不同渠道，送往六十多个国家和地区重要国际友人。

2013 年，查世煜创办了近千平方米的书画艺术馆一奥山艺馆。馆内陈列着查老不同时期的原创书画作品一百余幅。从陈饰艺术馆书画作品里，可以观摩到查老沉淀己久的精深技艺，更可以感悟到传统文人的风度。查老所创作的书画作品，无论从形式，还是到内容，都展现出查老书道，画道与身心融为一体，不愧为是古今相续的艺术贤才。

查世煜的书画频频入选参加中外重要美术大展，并荣获一项项大奖。他所创作的“楊帆峡江行”，“牧牛春水古木间＂，“故乡情”等七十多幅作品获全国金奖、中国传世金奖、翰墨中国金奖、中国好品牌影响力特等奖、世界文化交流伟大贡献奖等各类高规格的奖励。被国家文化部等单位授于《当代丹青大师》，《中华艺术骄子》，巜中国文化名人》，《中国书画领軍人物》等多个荣誉称号。

查世煜的成就，离不开他的勤奋和天赋。查老父亲为当地小文人，能写擅画。查老受他父亲影响，从六岁开始学习书画，为童子功。在他学生时期，就成为师生心目中的小书画家。小学，初中，大学时期，都为他办过书画展览。大学毕业后，先后能安排到部队、县城从事书画工作，其艺术爱好和才能得到了充分发挥，又得到了领导的认可、重用，步入了仕途，从部队，到县城，到地市，到省城，直到中央，成为中央领导人的参谋。但查老从不以此自居，宣楊炫耀自己。查老无论何时何地，无论身份如何转换，总是葆有一颗＂崇书爱画＂的初心，笔墨修养从未间断过，多少个深夜，都沉浸在书画研究之中。退休之后，摆脱了繁忙的工作，回到了自己毕生酷爱的书画中，继续礳砺积淀，己经达成了醇熟结晶的境界。所以从修养的根本属性上来看，查老事实上是一个地地道道的传统文人。

查世煜的成就，更离不开他的为人和修养。他淡泊名利，知识渊博，修养性好，为人谦逊，不但有一颗文人心，还有一颗善良之心。面对众多荣誉和赞赏，查老总认为这是对他的鼓励和鞭策。正如有的同志说的，正因为查老这份谦虚和坚守，让查老在书画艺术的道路上获得了他人难及的高度；结交了无数热情、善良的良友知己；赢得了人们的尊重和 敬佩 。

著名书画评论家史国澳说：作为书坛老前辈查世煜老先生的书品文德，可谓是人所共知！无论是他的众幅作品，还是他的学识情感，都展现出了极髙的修养与界。观查老众幅作品，都是上品佳作，赏心悦目。查老书法，能从传统古帖中吸取精粹，亦能在风格上突显时风。观查老的书法结构，字字动静相宜，行间开阔自然，变化多端，别具一格，构建了一种属于自己的翰墨风貌，同时也为作品表现出了浓厚的文人情趣与意韵。纵观当今书坛，能达此境界者，着实不多，实可敬可叹也！我敬佩查老的艺术品质，更敬佩其书法精神。在当今书坛中，甚至说整个艺术界内，都是充满了尚名追利之气，而查老却能在这种大环境下保持着一颗卑以自牧，含章可贞的艺术静心！查老在作品中所流露出的贤者才情，能让追俗者为之羞愧，亦能让书坛新人标之为榜！查老所具有的文化素养和修养，也是一般书家所不能及的。老骥伏枥，志在千里。书坛大家，名副其实。

Cha Shiyu: Born in May 1945, from Daye City, Hubei Province. Famous calligrapher and painter, Chinese cultural celebrity, Chinese cultural ambassador, inheritor of Chinese traditional cultural intangible cultural heritage, chief professor of the Chinese Painting Department and Calligraphy Department of the China Academy of Art, enjoying special government allowances from the State Council. He has served as an art consultant for the Encyclopedia of Chinese Calligraphers and Painters, an art consultant for the Yearbook of Inheritors of Chinese Traditional Cultural Heritage, an editor for the World Artists Dictionary, an editor for the New China Artists Encyclopedia, an honorary president of the China Artists Association, and a lifetime honorary president of the China Contemporary Art Association.

As early as 2012, Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House published a special collection of calligraphy and painting by Cha Shiyu, titled "Chinese Modern and Contemporary Masters' Calligraphy and Painting Collection", which was distributed at Xinhua Bookstore nationwide. This is the most influential book and painting collection in the country, representing the highest honor in the book industry. He has also published the national collector's edition stamp collections "Cha Shiyu Stamp Collection", "Cha Shiyu's cursive poetry collection of 100 Tang poems", and "Cha Shiyu's cursive calligraphy of Su Dongpo's ci fu". In 2021, Cha Lao and Sun Xiaoyun, the chairman of the China Book Association, jointly published "Chinese Influential Figures - Cha Shiyu Sun Xiaoyun's Calligraphy Collection".

In September 2008, Cha Shiyu's traditional Chinese painting "Jiangshan Duojiao" was collected by the Great Hall of the People; In October 2010, the traditional Chinese painting "Red Mountains Everywhere" was collected by the National Museum of China; In 2013, he became the first person to create a large-scale Chinese painting panoramic view of Wuhan, titled "Chu Tian Jiang Cheng Da Wuhan". In 2014, his creation of "The Great Wall of China" was selected among many competing works and was installed in the VLP room of Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center; The giant traditional Chinese painting "Red Sun Shines Over Mountains and Rivers" created in 2016 is displayed in the lobby of the first floor of the Hubei Provincial Political Consultative Conference office building; In 2018, the large-scale traditional Chinese paintings "Jiangshan Duo Jiao" and "Wan Shan Hong Ban" were displayed in the reception room of the National Museum. The art works of Cha Lao have high value in terms of collection and possess the taste of national collections. Having his calligraphy and painting works is like having a storefront to showcase traditional Chinese culture.

In calligraphy, Cha Shiyu practiced both cursive and running script. The three fonts of cursive script, cursive script, and cursive script have been entered into the National Lanting Font Library; The "Cha Shi Yu Cao Shu Su Dongpo Ci Fu" written by him has been collected by the National Museum of China. Check the calligraphy style of Lao Xing Cao, which is also included in Baidu Character Library and loved by calligraphy enthusiasts. Because of this, Cha Lao's calligraphy has gained the love of seekers and calligraphy enthusiasts. Cha Lao has written doorplates and couplets for hundreds of shopping malls, scenic spots, waiting halls, and temples. There are also multiple calligraphy works that have been sent to important international friends in over 60 countries and regions through different channels.

In 2013, Cha Shiyu founded the Aoshan Art Museum, a nearly 1000 square meter calligraphy and painting art museum. There are more than 100 original calligraphy and painting works from different periods displayed in the museum. From the calligraphy and painting works of Chen Xiu Art Museum, one can observe the profound skills that Cha Lao has accumulated for a long time, and also appreciate the demeanor of traditional literati. The calligraphy and painting works created by Cha Lao, both in form and content, demonstrate the integration of Cha Lao's calligraphy and painting skills with his body and mind, truly deserving of the title of artistic talent that has been passed down from ancient to modern times.

Cha Shiyu's calligraphy and painting have been frequently selected to participate in important art exhibitions at home and abroad, and have won numerous awards. His more than 70 works, such as "Yang Fan Xia Jiang Xing", "Herding Cattle in Spring Water and Ancient Trees", "Homeland Love", etc., have won various high-level awards such as the National Gold Award, China Heritage Gold Award, Hanmo China Gold Award, China Good Brand Influence Special Award, and World Cultural Exchange Great Contribution Award. Has been awarded multiple honorary titles by the Ministry of Culture and other units, including "Contemporary Danqing Master", "Chinese Art Pride", "Chinese Cultural Celebrity", "Leading Figure in Chinese Painting and Calligraphy", etc.

Cha Shiyu's achievements are inseparable from his diligence and talent. Cha Lao's father is a local literati who is skilled in writing and painting. Under the influence of his father, Cha Lao began studying calligraphy and painting at the age of six, contributing to the success of his children. During his student years, he became a small calligrapher and painter in the minds of both teachers and students. During his elementary school, junior high school, and university years, I organized calligraphy and painting exhibitions for him. After graduating from university, he was able to be arranged to work in calligraphy and painting in the military and county towns. His artistic hobbies and talents were fully utilized, and he was recognized and valued by the leaders. He entered the officialdom, from the military, to the county town, to the city, to the provincial capital, and even to the central government, becoming a staff officer for the central leaders. But Cha Lao never considers himself as such, and Xuan Yang flaunts himself. No matter when and where, no matter how his identity changes, Cha Lao always maintains his original intention of "worshiping books and loving painting", and his calligraphy and painting cultivation has never stopped. He has been immersed in the study of calligraphy and painting for many late nights. After retirement, I got rid of my busy work and returned to my lifelong passion for calligraphy and painting, continuing to refine and accumulate knowledge, and have achieved a state of mellow crystallization. So from the fundamental attribute of cultivation, Cha Lao is actually a genuine traditional literati.

He is indifferent to fame and fortune, knowledgeable, cultured, humble, not only has a cultured heart, but also a kind heart. Observing the works of many old artists, they are all top-quality masterpieces that are pleasing to the eye. The calligraphy of Lao Cha can draw essence from traditional ancient calligraphy and highlight the style of the times. Observing the old calligraphy structure, the characters are in harmony with movement and stillness, and the lines are open and natural, with diverse changes and a unique style. The wise talent displayed by Cha Lao in his works can make those who follow the vulgar feel ashamed, and can also make newcomers in the book industry shine! The cultural literacy and cultivation possessed by the elderly are beyond the reach of ordinary calligraphers. The old steed crouches in the haystack, with aspirations for a thousand miles.
